Credits to : Epic for Unreal Tournament, and all the other mappers out there for giving me ideas and hints on creating levels. =============================================================================
Play Information:
Game : Unreal Tournament Deathmatch : Yes Domination : No CTF : No Assault : No New Sounds : No New Music : No New Graphics : No
Construction:
Base : New map, from scratch. Editors used : UnrealEd. Build Time : Built over a number of days at work (hope they don't find out) so probably about eight to ten hours in total. Known Bugs : The bots don't enter the towers to collect the sniper rifle as often as I'd like them to. Changes made : Version 1 was very much like the level is now. By version 2 I had added rock formation to the underside of the fort and the other floating rocks. Unfortunately people complained at this as in version 1 a player could swim or hide under the fort or rock areas, so it was changed back. Version 3 had the outside walkway added, and version 4 had the internal fire lights placed to brighten those areas up a bit. =============================================================================
Description:
My first released UT map. Based around Fort Boyard (odd television programme feauring members of the public doing crazy and sometimes suicidal things in order to get enough money for their bus fare home). Liked the fort layout, so decided to build it as an UT level. Although the suggested player count is 2 to 8, I've had it running at work with upto 16 players in team mode without any hangups. There are four levels in this map... and it seems the lower you go, the more carnage seems to occur, so arm up on the floor level. Bots also seem to have a desire to have the redeemer, so be ready for that. =============================================================================
