Phantasy Star Portable Coming to the U.S. in March

Phantasy Star fans take note: Sega has confirmed the newest game in the series, Phantasy Star Portable, will be released in North America at long last in March 2009. The game takes place after the disappointing Phantasy Star Universe, which I think most of us have agreed to pretend never existed.

While many are eagerly anticipating Fable 2's release next week, Peter Molyneux has already been hard at work on his next project. And despite this game still being shrouded in secrecy, it's not stopping the notoriously talkative designer from hyping it up already -- and using some tremendously grandiose language to do so.

Takara Tomy announced in this week's issue of Famitsu magazine that a new game bearing the Toshinden name is in the works. The title, still at an early stage of development, is coming to the Wii at an unspecified time.
BioShock PS3 Graphical Glitches Getting Patched

BioShock for the PlayStation 3 is getting a patch to fix some graphics issues, according to a post on the 2K Forums. Following the release of the demo, there was concern among the community over some of the textures, particularly on the Big Daddies. Community manager Elizabeth has confirmed that the "Bouncer" and "Elite Bouncer" variants of Big Daddies will be patched to eliminate the large, blocky pixels that are visible. In addition, the white/discolored bars during the opening plane crash sequence will be fixed as well. The new screenshots (above) show off the fixed Daddies to put minds at ease.
