Short Description
This over 12 minute long video focuses on the sounds of battle that you will hear in Theatre of War! Listen to the sound and fury of strafing runs, armored vehicles on the move, awesome artillery barrages, infantry assaulting and tanks slugging it out.
by: John D. (Visitor)As a former participant in active combat with the US Army, these sound effects 'hit home'.
The engine sounds, sporadic gunfire and occasional commands being barked out is really authentic sounding. The vehicles really bring back my memories of the diesel smell, that I remember permeated the battlefield .
As for the aircraft: I have witnessed A-10s support ground forces, and these sound effects really bring it all back quite vividly.
Excellent clip: I can't wait for the release!!!
