Short Description
This 90 minute demo includes 4 tutorials, 2 small maps with support for up to two AI players, and one randomly generated medium size map with support for up to three AI players.
by: MrPoo (Visitor)Just bought this the other weekend, thinking there wasn't going to be a demo any time soon... seeing so many incredibly high reviews from Gamespot, IGN, etc. of 90/100 it seemed to be a sure thing.
Overall, greatly disappointed. The game feels very shallow in comparison to Master of Orion II or GalCiv II. Voices are terribly annoying, tech tree is relatively tiny, and it seemed to take a LOT longer to install than what I saw present when playing.
Worth trying the demo. Hope others enjoy it more than I did.[reply|quote]Friday, March 21, 2008 09:04 PM

by: Kommodore (Visitor)Biggest problem with this game, it takes 3 weeks to finish a game(exagerating)! At some point during the game you stop caring, and work or school seem less tedious and fun. Its not bad, if it ever ended.[reply|quote]Saturday, March 22, 2008 11:29 PM

by: xXAnimeFanXx (Visitor)Not a bad game but its the slowest rts i have ever seen. even in fast options for everything (build time, resources, research etc) it seems sluggish. Just imagine playing starcraft with slowest speed setting and you might be getting close. Not to mention that although there is a storyline there is apparently no campaign. Just my personal opinion but I think a rts with no campaign is like cake with no icing.[reply|quote]Sunday, March 23, 2008 09:31 PM

by: Battlehawk (Visitor)Personally i found my self being totally emersed in a game for the first time since years. Played the demo till 5 AM. Fantastic game. Use to play a lot of Masters of Orion II, and this game somehow feels like a progression from there. Very intuitive interface and interesting gameplay. Bought the real game today, can't wait till i get home to try it out.[reply|quote]Thursday, March 27, 2008 08:15 AM

by: Anonymous (Visitor)Question: I have heard there is a time limit on the demo. Is that for the Single Player only, or for the entire demo?[reply|quote]Wednesday, April 09, 2008 03:42 PM
