    		 by: Woody B (Visitor) Unbelievable ! Sim city 4 always crashed my computer when the population got over a certain amount..

    Now this new one (which Im playing on a very high spec machine) does the same at even lower populations..!

    I was able to play for hours previous to installing it. In fact, i only started crashing after pop > 7-8000, and then it would always crash after loading that saved game.

    Installed the patch, old save wouldn't load... (immediately crash to desktop), and try anew city, crashes as soon as I place a few buildings.

    Previous to installing patch, I played probably 4-5 hours straight, just noticed increased chug. Game was eating approx 850mb phys mem, and 1.1gb swap.

    		 by: crashingPC (Visitor) well i expected the game to be bug ridden because it is from EA, however i did expect to be able to at least play it for a little while.
    the game is crap imo and it also keeps crashing strange that isnt it. Why the fk cant they produce a game that does wot it is advertised to do, be played!     		 by: Bill (Visitor) This game is a perfect example of why people pirate games out there.Would be easier to throw in the garbage had I not paid 50+ dollars for it! GRRRR. What happened here, new change of management or something? All of the great sim games up to this point and then you took 2 steps back, whatever you did, fix it and don't do it again......zoom feature sucks,disorienting trying to find my way around after the place is built.Can't zoom out like in Sim City 4. Recall and give our money back or make a large patch and fix this crap.Zoom fix (can't zoom out enough), Financial fix (part of the appeal of a sim city is the REALITY of balancing resources, monetary issues and populace). You give us the money, the city is built within an hour, what good is that? What, are we children or something? I am so disappointed, I don't make that much money as it is and when I bought this game i expected it to be an upgrade of the other Sim Cities not a downgrade. Google, what I say....many feel the same as I. CRAP! Make a patch and alter this and don't make us pay more for it either, it's your fault EA Games this game is this way and I would be content spending that much if you were to fix these issues. The game right now is a prostitute we need her to be somewhere around one of those classy chicks that you would take to a high school prom, some makeup, a good view, (the dress is already nice).
