TGS 08: Microsoft Holding Off on Delisting XBLA Games
Sun, 12 Oct 2008 11:30:00 PDT
Earlier this year, Microsoft stirred up a small hubbub when they announced they would be delisting some Xbox Live Arcade titles that met certain criteria of underperformance -- slow sales, bad reviews, etc. But at the Tokyo Game Show earlier this week, Xbox Live corporate vice president John Schappert told IGN that won't be the case. Speaking to Xbox360Fanboy, Microsoft's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb revealed that the full download size of the NXE will be 128MB, which will make it too large for a "small percentage" of 360 owners sans hard drive.

Ryan Scott and I are at ground zero, liveblogging the comedic highs and incoherent lows as wild-eyed attendees rush the stage and lob question after question at the tragically heroic Blizzard staff.
Activision Announces Secret Service for 360, PS2, PC
Sat, 11 Oct 2008 13:16:00 PDT
The absurd setup seems so obvious, you have to wonder how no one got around to doing this sooner -- Activision has announced Secret Service, a new "tactical first-person action game" that, naturally, puts the players in the role of a secret service agent who must protect the country's leaders when Washington, D.C. comes under attack by "extremists" on Inauguration Day.
