Techland informs that patch 1.1.0.0 for Call of Juarez is available.
Wroclaw, 28.11.2006: Techland has officially announced that the 1.1.0.0 patch for Call of Juarez, Wild West FPP shooter, is now available for download. The patch installer is approx. 99MB.
After consultations with players, reconsideration of their hints and ideas, Techland has introduced changes which, above all, are to improve the multiplayer game mode. The patch is universal and works well with all language versions of Call of Juarez. Please note, however, that versions 1.1.0.0 and 1.0.0.0 are incompatible, thus it's only possible to connect to a server with the same game version.
What's new in version 1.1.0.0.
1. Anticheat system (client game data verification).
2. Improved navigation in join server/create server menus.
3. AwayFromKeyboard option (allows to kill AFK player after given sec.).
4. TeamKill option (allows to kick player from server after given teamkills).
5. Friendly Fire option.
6. ShowDamageMessages option.
7. /ban console command.
8. Some minor changes.

About Call of Juarez
Move yourself to The Wild West, times of duels in the high noon, bank robberies and gold rush. Face the legendary gunslingers and take part in spectacular gunfights and horseback chases. In single player campaign the player plays the role of two opposing heroes, with different weaponry and fighting styles. Billy is a rebel and a brawler who was accused of murder and now tries to escape the punishing hand of law. Reverend Ray is a former gunslinger, who deserts the church and takes an oath to deliver the justice to Billy, and all the criminals he stumbles upon, by a gun bullet.
Call of Juarez is made of authentic western situations such as: trek through vast and wild North American territories, teaming up with Native Americans, brawls in saloons, gunfights and some fun in a local brothel. Game allows players to use world’s objects as melee weapons or tools to solve logic puzzles.
Call of Juarez uses third installment of the Chrome Engine. Graphics, AI and multiplayer mode will immerse you in the Wild West as never before.
