Gamerscore Blog recently had the chance to sit down with Cliff Johnson, the lead designer for Gears of War 2, to have him answer some questions from their community about the upcoming game. Most of the questions really didn’t reveal anything groundbreaking that we didn’t already know, although “the artist formerly known as CliffyB” did mention one major change to the gameplay. This time around, you won’t be able to issue commands to your squad as before; they’ll pretty much just function on their own. Also, you’ll apparently be able to play as other members of Delta Squad at different points in the campaign. I guess it’s not that major of a change if the AI stays up to snuff. Really, all this means is we can devote more time to shooting things.

Haze Launch Trailer (HD)Ubisoft has announced that their PS3-exclusive FPS, Haze, is out on store shelves now. Yep, this is the shooter from Free Radical that’s been delayed and hyped up like crazy for a long time now. In my experience, that’s either a good sign or a very very bad one; like walking into a movie theater and finding no one else there. So what side does this one fall under? I don’t know, but early reviews for it are proclaiming it a solid “meh.” Still, this might tide over you action fiends until MGS4 hits stores. And Ubisoft has also released a new launch trailer that you can view above.

The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon, is the third chapter in the trilogy and will be released this autumn for the DS, PS2, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360. This time around, Spyro can fly at any time and players can drop-in/drop-out with the new co-operative feature. The co-op feature allows players to have the option of completing the game as either Spyro or Cynder, giving them more freedom to explore Spyro’s world in completely new ways.

When the house lights go down this fall, a new generation of axe shredders, drummers and fearless frontmen will come together and rock with Guitar Hero World Tour.

Hideo Kojima, acclaimed director of the Metal Gear Solid series, seems to have a hard time making up his mind. He’s stated numerous times that Metal Gear Solid 4 will be his last entry in the series and even mentioned that he might turn his creative eye to Zone of Enders once more. But now he seems to be saying that he’s already making plans for Metal Gear Solid 5, even though MGS4 isn’t even out the door quite yet. In an interview with Famitsu, Kojima said:
