More DLC for Lost Odyssey Coming to XBL?

According to CVG, fans of Mistwalker’s Lost Odyssey will be able to download some more content this weekend. The ‘Seeker of the Deep’ Dungeon Pack, which is already available in Japan will be out on Xbox Live May 23rd for 400 Microsoft points. The most recent DLC for the game came out on April 25th.No word on whether this is the same pack that launched in Japan, but we assume that its, and according to CVG:

Square Enix is held up with high regard in the gaming community, most notably for its continuing work in RPGs such as the Final Fantasy series and Lost Odyssey — though recent opinions of these franchises have been mixed. But the company has still been facing stiff competition from other game makers; so much so, that they’re now looking at joining efforts with other publishers by either buying stakes in other businesses or creating new alliances. Dead Space Producer Interview and Gameplay Footage

There’s a new video out showing an interview with the producer for Dead Space, Glen Schofield. In it, he discusses the development team’s goals for the game and how they went about crafting such an immersive experience. What I find more interesting though is the gameplay footage that’s also displayed, since it finally shows the game in action. It looks a lot like a more brutal, sci-fi version of Resident Evil 4, and I consider that a very good thing. This game’s at least looks different from the other legions of “space station taken over by mysterious creatures” games.

Three New Resistance 2 Shots Emerge

Resistance 2 is the sequel to fps Resistance: Fall of Man. In the sequel, a Black Ops aircraft takes Sgt. Nathan Hale to the base of the Special Projects Research Administration (SPRA) in Iceland. Hale arrives at the base and discovers that there are others like him that are resistant to the Chimera virus who have been collected together from around the world by the SPRA. The result is a task force called ‘The Sentinels’. The base then comes under attack by Chimera forces and ‘The Sentinels’ manage to escape to the United States. Two years after the Chimeran defeat in Great Britain, the Chimera launch a full-scale aerial invasion on both the east and west coasts of the United States.
